She is assisted by the all-knowing goddess Athena. In two guided tours, 6\u20138-year-old explorers and 9\u201314-year-old smart alecks can playfully discover masterpieces of the Glyptothek such as the Kuros of Tenea, the Barberini Faun, the Athena of Aegina, the Augustus Bevilacqua and the Boy with the Goose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the help of Glauki&#8217;s curious questions and Athena&#8217;s clever answers, the children and young people discover a new sculpture in each room of the Glyptothek, which sometimes even speaks to them. A short quiz at the end of each section leads to the next figure. Both guided tours of the media guide introduce young museum visitors to the art and culture of Greek and Roman antiquity in an entertaining and playful way. The media guide for children and young people ties in with the existing media guides in the State Collections of Antiquities and the Glyptothek. It is available in the museum on rental devices, but can also be downloaded free of charge as an app from the Apple or Google app stores onto your own smartphone.
