Der Münchner Bildhauer Christoph Bergmann ist bekannt für seine aus Aluminium geformten futuristischen Mischwesen, die 2009 in der Ausstellung „Mythos in Metall“ in der Glyptothek gezeigt wurden. Bereits seit seinem Studium an der Münchner Kunstakademie entdeckte er die Antiken der Glyptothek als Inspirations-quelle für sein künstlerisches Schaffen. In der Ausstellung „Neues Licht“ präsentiert er seine Figuren und deutet das Verhältnis von Skulptur und Licht neu.

Barberini Faun
