Children's Day

07.05.2023  10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

We go on an expedition through the special exhibition "Circus to Apostle. Terra Sigillata from the K. Wilhelm Collection" and learn more about the production and the images on Roman tableware.

How were the vessels made?

What did the Romans use them for?

What does the name Terra Sigillata mean?

How did the relief images get onto the vessels?

What do the Circus and the Apostles have to do with it?

The answers to these and other questions you may have will be given on our family tours. The tours take place throughout the day. Along with it we provide for you an open programme with quiz and creative stations in cooperation with the Museum Education Centre (MPZ).

Without registration, for families with children from 5 years of age, free admission for children, museum admission for adults 1,- €, possible material costs 1,- to 5,- €.
