Children's Day

27 11.2022 10-17 h

On Children's Day, we ask what the Romans saw when dining, celebrating at night, working and living in a wolrd without electric lieght? Will approach these questions during the Children's day on our current special exhibition "New Light from Pompeji"

There will be plenty of time for discussion and further questions from the children during the family tours with quiz ton the special exhibition, which will take place throughout the day as will a small experiment showing an eruption of a volcano. Children can approach antiquity in a playful way at various creative stations (painting, casting plaster figures, making mosaics).

Without registration, for families with children from 5 years of age, free admission for children, museum admission inc. special exhibition for adults 6,- €, possible material costs 1,- to 5,- €.

Open programme with guided tours and creative stations in cooperation with the Museum Education CEntre (MPZ), the institute for Classical Archaeology (LMU Munich), and pupils from a P-Seminar at Gymnasium Starnberg.
