Kinderprojektwoche in den Sommerferien

A Week with Klio and Philippos - Everyday Life in Ancient Greece

Come with us on a journey back in time to ancient Greece!
During the project week, you will get answers to these questions:

  • How did Klio and Philippos live more than 2500 years ago?
  • What gods did they believe in?
  • What kind of clothes did they wear?
  • What did they play with?
  • What did they eat?

Find out everything you ever wanted to know about life in ancient Greece at the storytelling, handicraft and hands-on stations in the museums on Königsplatz. Marble statues and pictures on Greek vases provide you with information and encourage you to slip into ancient roles.
What else can you experience in the children's project week?
  • We will take a close look at marble statues and pictures on Greek vases.
  • We'll do handicrafts together and if you want, you can take part in a little play.
  • We build sets and props and rehearse different scenes.
